Besides the fact that Penang Butterfly Farm is a museum, that tells the large public everything about butterflies, it is also a research centre for butterfly and insect breeding. This is the only colorful place in the city any generation would love. In order to entertain the visitors this museum has extended its fauna from butterflies to tarantulas, frogs, beetles, snakes, lizards and aquatic creatures. There is a souvenir outlet selling butterflies and its relatives.
