More or less all buses cross Komtar, so you can keep Komtar as your nodal point. It is located strategically in the center of the Georgetown. You can see the old Penang houses and new Penang development from there. It is a very tall building with one stop service, banks, clothes, electronics, books, food courts, etc. and a lot of shopping. Also you can get a very good exchange rate with the money changers there.
