Sri Mariamman Temple is a small and positive Hindu holy place. Before entering this temple you must wash your feet and hands. It is interesting and auspicious to move around the temple clockwise. There is no entrance fee, but a donation in the inside metal container is welcoming. During ladies periods they are not allowed to enter the temple, to touch any statues or holy objects. This discipline shows respect for mother of all mothers.
