One impressive Muslim worship place is Acheen Street Mosque. It was built in 1808 by a member of a royal family and it is actually a complex of mosque, the graveyard and some old houses of the yore. Its mixture of different architectural elements such as Moorish-style parapets, Chinese and Malay outer walls, Neo-Classical columns, Malay roof tiles and Egyptian minaret will impress anyone. This original building is situated in the center of the Georgetown.ve outside of British justice and instead use Sharia Law on other Muslims. There are unusual architectural elements include Moorish-style parapets, Chinese/Malay outer walls, Neo-Classical columns, Malay roof tiles and Egyptian minaret.
